TOCQ i nostri arredi

You have already seen them or you will soon see them at the Tocq Hotel. You would probably like to know a little bit more about them. They were chosen by our architect Elena Bozzini and positioned right there – in the rooms, the lounge, the restaurant – to offer you maximum comfort and style. Just like we always do.

Bergère 19 – Patricia Urquiola

This reading chair is a great classic skilfully reinvented with a contemporary style by Patricia Urquiola. It is made of a solid ash frame and it is available either in fabric or leather upholstery and prominent contrasting lines. If you have not tried it yet, you really should, perhaps reading a nice book and escaping from the world.

Scrittarello - Achille Castiglioni

Scrittarello – Achille Castiglioni

This item is a perfect combination of form and function, as we like to say. This desk was designed by Achille Castiglioni and has already become a contemporary classic for the home office. The two side shelves, the foot rest and its slightly rounded corners are ideal if you need to work remotely from the Tocq.

Connecticut – Jens Risom

This coffee table was created in 1965 by Danish architect Jens Risom who was the author of many projects designed according to the ‘form follows function’ principle.

This design was awarded for its elegance, for how the optical weight of its top is perfectly balanced with the open space at the bottom. It was the main element in Jens’ living room for more than 30 years and today, we are really happy to have it at the Tocq.

Console

Console

We positioned it in various parts of the room: behind the sofa, in the living area, in the bedroom to allow you to have a comfortable and stylish unit where you can place your things. Our architects fell in love with its stark style and minimal elegance with exposed steel tie rods, the rounded edges of the top and the choice between natural oak or wengé colour. It is produced by Boffi DePadova and is available for sale if you would like to have one in your own home.

Sen – Kensaku Oshiro

A very versatile unit, partly because of its use but also because it has been designed in different shapes and heights and its top is available in different materials: marble, oak and also a “soft touch” nanotechnology treatment which is particularly pleasant to the touch. And you know we love to pamper you, so we put it in the rooms dedicated to relaxation and reading.
